Final exam

(1) Name 3 things that we learned in class that you now apply in real life.
-Shot composition, what they are and how to recognize them in movies and music videos.
-How easy it is to capture video and make a name for yourself just by using your cell phone.
-How to be consistent in my skills and improve them.

(2) How did what you learned in class help you when you participated in "Chatting With"?
-I think it helped me better understand what goes into making an actual production, since everybody had a different job when it was their group's turn to interview.

(3) In your opinion what is the best part of "Chatting With" and how do we expand it?

-The best part of "Chatting With" was the fact that we the students basically did the whole production ourselves. I think a good way to expand it would be having the students pick who they interviewed and reach out to them to set it up, instead of groups just working with whatever guest was brought into class by the professor.

EXTRA CREDIT:
(4) Knowing what you know now, would you take this class again and why? Would you recommend it?
-I would take this class again because although it was a little unorthodox, it was always interesting and I never knew what to expect. I would recommend it to others, especially if they didn't have any prior knowledge of Multimedia, because it was a good introductory course.

Final Classes

For our last couple of classes, we interviewed different special guests and took turns being the director, editor, shooter and interviewer. Last week, I was in a group with Graham, Julia, Tara, and Timmy and I was the designated editor (see video below). I cut between the 2 shot and close-ups of Julia and Dr. Malveaux, but I had to stick to the 2 shot more towards the end since Dr. Malveaux's camera cut out early.
